In this Wednesdays With Will episode, Dr. Harden tells us about a new toys he uses for treating his patients. It is called Light Force and it is an infrared laser that penetrates the skin to speed healing of tissues (muscle, tendons, ligaments, bone, cartilage, etc.) If the tissue is alive, the Light Force will speed up metabolism and therefore, healing.

Light Force says: "Deep tissue therapy is a scientifically proven way to reduce pain and inflammation." I know it worked for me with just two treatments. The best part is that is was not only painless, but it was pleasant.

In this episode, clinical, holistic nutritionist, Beverly Meyer explains the importance of having a proper level of the neurotransmitter gamma aminobuyteric acid (GABA). She explains that this important, but little known, neurotransmitter balances out our fight or flight system to allow us to calm down, relax, rest and recover. She began running at the age of 22 by doing a mile a day. Ten years later she was still doing and wanted more. She then ran more then 60 Marathons and is still going strong at 70 years old.
